Dimmeys Clock Dial Replacement, Cremorne

Replacement of clock dials at the Heritage Victoria–listed Dimmeys Building, Cremorne.

Heritage and conservation documentation was prepared for the replacement of two damaged glass clock dials forming part of the landmark Dimmeys clock.

The works involved developing a conservation-based methodology, in collaboration with a glass conservator and specialist manufacturer, to ensure the new dials accurately replicate the original design while maintaining the building’s visual prominence and heritage significance.
